Back from Surgery
Butch got out of back surgery a few hours ago and we were able to see him. He was really groggy but would open his eyes a little and respond to the nurse talking to him. One of the surgeons came in and asked him to move his toes. He opened his eyes and was able to move his toes--a good sign. He currently has a breathing tube and will be asleep for the rest of today and at least part of tomorrow. They want to keep him comfortable. Things continue to go well.

Good to hear some news! Rest is so important for healing so I am glad he is getting some. We continue to think of Butch and the whole family. We are praying for him.
